"Kim Possible" (Live-Action) Review!

Sean Giambrone, Ciara Riley Wilson, and Sadie Stanley in Kim Possible (2019)

So....the "Kim Possible" DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie)? I have to admit that it wasn't complete trash. Before I go into my review and justification for my thoughts, I just wanted to say, no offense to anyone who actually enjoyed the movie. I'd love to hear your justification on why you liked it. I'd also like to say that this will have spoilers, and I'm sorry for not previously stating that my posts will have spoilers.
Out of 10, I would give the live-action "Kim Possible" movie a 4.5.
I could tell that much time and thought was put into the film, and it was purely made out of good intentions.
The fight scenes were filmed and edited very well (except for the first like 10 minutes).
They mostly captured the essence of the original characters, which was a defining part of the original animated "Kim Possible". Sadie Stanley respectively did a great job playing her part, but I would have preferred that the writers wrote the live-action Kim as a more savage character.
The moral message was also very unclear to me. I'm not sure if the plot was trying to teach kids that there will always be people better than you, or always be a supportive friend and don't be jealous, or that your accomplishments aren't the only things that define you. The writers also kind of threw away their message when they revealed the plot twist I saw coming from the time they first introduced the newcomer to 'Team Possible', Athena. I knew that she was going to be a villain.
Going on to Athena's character, I would have been fine with her character dying. I sort of wished instead of her being an android, she was a big fan of Kim, who then realized she would never be as good as Kim, so she decided to take Kim down. For some random reason, Athena reminded me of a character from the Disney XD show "Lab Rats". Again, I have nothing against Ciara Riley Wilson, who respectively plays Athena, I just didn't really like the use of Athena as a character. I have also heard that the writers had already used a very similar movie plotline previously in the show, as part of the 2005 "Kim Possible: So the Drama" film or episode compilation (sorry, I'm just a little confused).
The movie, however, had some laughable moments and had many easter eggs to the original show. I personally haven't seen the show, but I've heard that Athena's suit is very similar to Kim's in season 4. Live-action Kim also references her crop-top attire from the show, and how it always felt 'cartoony'. Poppy Blu, a Lady Gaga-esque character, played by Christy Carlson Romano, the original Kim Possible, is a homage to Britina, the Britney Spears equivalent in the animated show. There are also many other easter eggs and recreations of the original show.
I don't know why, but in the live-action adaptation, Kim does a lot of flips and unnecessary stunts. I'm not sure if animated Kim did that or not.
I personally wouldn't rewatch the new Kim Possible DCOM, but I know that hard work was put into this film. What are your thoughts? Should I watch the animated show and then rewatch the live-action movie?

Why High School Musical & Descendants Are the Same

vs          To clear up any misunderstandings, I understand that both franchises were directed and choreographed by Kenny Ortega so they will have some similarities in their layouts.         "High School Musical" is a DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie) that was released in 2006. The movie conveys the message of breaking free of quotas and being your true self, no matter what labels people put on you, through various different musical numbers. The movie follows star basketball player Troy Bolton and overly 'smart' Gabriella Montez, and how music unites the two unexpected couple together.         "Descendants" is a DCOM that was released in 2015, almost ten years after the release of the original High School Musical. The movie teaches the audience that you must make your own choices in life, and you do not have to live the same lives as your parents, even if that is what is expected of you. The musical follo...

Ranking Demi Lovato's Albums!

Hi! This week I'm going to share my opinion on one of my favorite musical artists: Demi Lovato. This is all based on my own opinion, so you don't have to agree. Currently, she has six studio albums. This list will only include her personal albums (except for "Moves Me" [2004] & "Demo" [?]). This will not include soundtracks or compilation albums from her other projects. 5.  ("Tell Me You Love Me" Album Cover)         In fifth place is her latest album, "Tell Me You Love Me [Clean] (Deluxe) + (Target Exclusive)" which was released in 2017.          I personally don't like this album. It's a good album, but I'm not the target demographic for this album, so maybe that's why I don't like it.          Many of the songs have a more adult theme, so parental consent is recommended.          The album is different from Lovato's previ...

My Favorite/Best Disney Channel Moments (Part 3)

Basically, this is the same concept as the first and second parts but includes different clips. Please if you haven't, go and read the other parts too. Of course, there are going to be major spoilers and all rights obviously go to their respective owner.         The first scene I'm going to be talking about is from the 2011 DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie), "Lemonade Mouth", which is based on Mark Peter Hughes' 2007 novel of the same name. "Lemonade Mouth" is how five high schoolers meet in detention and end up forming a band called 'Lemonade Mouth' and also help cope and mend with their lives using music and friendship. This is one of my favorite DCOMs and it actually has really good music.         When Lemonade Mouth is preparing for the 'Rising Star' competition, their worlds' seem to fall apart. Wen (played by Adam Hicks) injures his eye when his father (played by Bob Jesser) asks him to be his best man. The other remaini...
