Are You Ready for the Kim Possible Movie?

Kim Possible (2002) vs Sean Giambrone, Ciara Riley Wilson, and Sadie Stanley in Kim Possible (2019)

Are you ready for the new "Kim Possible" movie? The movie will premiere this Friday, February 15, on Disney Channel.
Disney Channel is taking a very big risk by rebooting the beloved animated show, "Kim Possible" 17 years after its original release. Die-hard fans think that the new reboot will 'ruin their childhood'.
I'm not going to lie, but the promotion for the movie looks like it was made in iMovie and the promos make it look like the movie had no budget.
I personally haven't seen the show, but I have been meaning to. I trust and have faith in the writers because they are the same as the show, so they must know how much their creation has impacted people.
I feel like the movie is going to be at least average, but because of the fans of the original show, most people will hate the movie because it is unlike the original. People will band-wagon on hating the DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie).
If the original show means a whole lot to the viewers, they can be reassured that this is not the same Kim Possible they grew up with. The movie is a reboot and sort of like a prequel to the show. This Kim and her friends are different, and that doesn't mean that Sadie Stanely (who respectively plays Kim Possible in the reboot) is going to ruin your childhood. If it helps, imagine that this is another universe with a different Kim, Shego, Ron, Rufus, and Drakken.
I'm excited to see what Disney Channel does with this film because this will sort of be the first 'action' DCOM since the 2012 "Girl vs. Monster". I am also a big fan of the "Spy Kids" franchise and am excited to see if the movies are similar.
Are you a fan of the original "Kim Possible"? What are your thoughts on the reboot? Are you excited or mortified?

The Importance of Theme Songs

Theme songs are important, but today I'm going to highlight why. Theme songs set viewers up for the upcoming episode and create anticipation. They also allow viewers to sing along with the cheesy lyrics and dance to the infectious music, creating happy memories. Theme songs allow the writers of the tv show to display the show's values and purpose in a song for many to enjoy, every time they watch the show.  Here are some theme songs that are popular:  1. "Drake & Josh" (2004-2007) In Nickelodeon's "Drake & Josh", Drake Parker (played by Drake Bell) and Josh Nichols (played by Josh Peck), two very different teenagers, suddenly become brothers, when their families converge. The show is very enjoyable and funny, and many remember it for its theme song.  In the theme song, "I Found A Way", which was sung by Drake Bell, Bell sings that even though it seemed crazy and difficult to become brothers, he eventually found a way...

Why High School Musical & Descendants Are the Same

vs          To clear up any misunderstandings, I understand that both franchises were directed and choreographed by Kenny Ortega so they will have some similarities in their layouts.         "High School Musical" is a DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie) that was released in 2006. The movie conveys the message of breaking free of quotas and being your true self, no matter what labels people put on you, through various different musical numbers. The movie follows star basketball player Troy Bolton and overly 'smart' Gabriella Montez, and how music unites the two unexpected couple together.         "Descendants" is a DCOM that was released in 2015, almost ten years after the release of the original High School Musical. The movie teaches the audience that you must make your own choices in life, and you do not have to live the same lives as your parents, even if that is what is expected of you. The musical follo...

My Favorite/Best Disney Channel Moments (Part 3)

Basically, this is the same concept as the first and second parts but includes different clips. Please if you haven't, go and read the other parts too. Of course, there are going to be major spoilers and all rights obviously go to their respective owner.         The first scene I'm going to be talking about is from the 2011 DCOM (Disney Channel Original Movie), "Lemonade Mouth", which is based on Mark Peter Hughes' 2007 novel of the same name. "Lemonade Mouth" is how five high schoolers meet in detention and end up forming a band called 'Lemonade Mouth' and also help cope and mend with their lives using music and friendship. This is one of my favorite DCOMs and it actually has really good music.         When Lemonade Mouth is preparing for the 'Rising Star' competition, their worlds' seem to fall apart. Wen (played by Adam Hicks) injures his eye when his father (played by Bob Jesser) asks him to be his best man. The other remaini...
