Is "Andi Mack" Inappropriate for Kids?

"Andi Mack" is a Disney Channel show, created by Lizzie Mcguire writer Terri Minsky. The show follows the life of 13-year-old Andi Mack. On her thirteenth birthday, her distant older sister, Bex, comes for a visit and unveils something that turns Andi's world upside down. Her sister is actually her mother.         The show supports various diverse characters and handles an abundance of real-world issues, such as bullying, therapy, dysfunctional families, teen pregnancies, anxiety disorders, learning disabilities, military families, lgbtq+ acceptance, and now the ever so relevant issue of gun violence.  In the show's most recent episode, "Cookie Monster", the show handles peer pressure regarding a gun which was stolen from a parent. The episode is a two-parter and left viewers off on a cliffhanger on how the characters will deal with the situation.         Earlier this year, a petition by One Mill...

Did "ZOMBIES" Copy "Halloweentown High"?

VS.            Okay. This is going to be my last Halloweentown related post for a while. I promise (not really). They are not given the same treatment.        "Halloweentown High" is a film where the portal through Halloweentown and Earth has been opened for use throughout the year, instead of just on Halloween. The ma...

Is Marnie Piper actually Teddy Duncan?

VS                                Marnie Piper               Teddy Duncan        So, no. Marnie Piper from the Halloweentown franchise (specifically Halloweentown High) and Teddy Duncan from the 2010 tv series: Good Luck Charlie are not the same person. You just got clickbated, but while I was watching Halloweentown High, I definitely noticed some similarities between the two characters.        Both leading ladies are determined in their own ways. Marnie tried to bring the human experience to monsters and Teddy tried giving advice to her younger sister, Charlie, in the form of video diaries. They both share witty sarcasm, but a caring personality. Even though their storylines are so different, the two characters still seem so similar to one another. ...
